- How do credits work?
- Credits are used for AI generations. Different models cost different amounts of credits. On average, 1 credit generates 2.5 images or 0.167 seconds of video. Your credit balance rolls over each month and never expires (Professional and Team plans get 3-month rollover).
- Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
- Yes! You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. When upgrading, you'll be charged the prorated difference immediately. When downgrading, the change takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
- What happens if I run out of credits?
- You can purchase credit top-ups at any time. Starter plans get 1,000 credits for $10, while Professional plans get 1,200 credits for $10 (20% bonus). Your generations will pause if you run out of credits until you top up.
- Do credits expire?
- For Free and Starter plans, unused credits expire at the end of each billing period. Professional and Team plans include 3-month credit rollover, so your credits accumulate for up to 3 months before expiring.
- What AI models do you support?
- We support all major AI models including Flux, SDXL, Stable Diffusion, Runway, Pika, and more. All plans (including Free) have access to all models - you just pay with credits based on the model you choose.
- Is there a commercial license included?
- Yes! All plans include a commercial license for content generated on BasedLabs. You own the rights to your creations and can use them commercially without attribution.
- How does team billing work?
- Team plans bill per user per month. All team members share a unified credit pool for maximum efficiency. You can add or remove users at any time, and billing adjusts automatically.
- Can I try before I buy?
- Yes! The Free plan includes 150 credits per month with access to all AI models and features. This is enough to generate ~375 images or 25 seconds of video to test the platform.
